Vishvaa Subramanian

Vishvaa is employed as a Building Code Consultant at BMACTC. In this role, he applies his expertise in building and fire codes to support both new developments and existing buildings. His responsibilities include conducting comprehensive code reviews, preparing detailed compliance reports, working on Certified Professional (C.P.) projects, and developing Alternative Solution proposals. He also assesses existing structures for compliance with the British Columbia Fire Code, participates in project meetings, and maintains effective communication with clients and Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
Vishvaa holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Fire Safety and is proficient in industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. He is currently working towards his P.Eng. designation. Known for his ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and adapt to shifting priorities, he consistently delivers high-quality work. His attention to detail, dedication to client service, and willingness to travel for site visits and audits make him a valuable contributor to BMACTC’s mission of delivering safe, code-compliant solutions across projects in Canada.
