BMAC provided mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for a specialized chemical laboratory. The HVAC system utilized a high-efficiency VRF system for heating and cooling, supported by ERVs to maintain fresh air supply and indoor air quality.
The plumbing design included a chemical neutralization tank to treat lab effluents prior to municipal discharge, ensuring regulatory compliance. Chemical fume hoods were designed per ASPE standards to ensure safe containment and ventilation.
The sprinkler system was designed in accordance with NFPA 13 and NFPA 45 to address laboratory-specific fire protection requirements. Our integrated approach ensured a safe, compliant, and high-performing laboratory environment.
