
BMAC conducted a comprehensive assessment of an existing mechanical room with the objective of reducing energy consumption and resolving persistent water leakage issues—without compromising occupant thermal comfort. BMAC developed and presented a detailed report to the council, outlining four cost-effective and sustainable retrofit options.
The council elected to proceed with the recommended removal of the existing water heat exchangers and pumps, opting instead for a high-efficiency 4-pipe system with Viessmann storage tanks integrated alongside the relatively new boiler system.
