BMAC provided engineering services for the complete domestic water re-piping of a 31-storey high-rise residential building. The existing single zoned copper piping system, which had reached the end of its service life, was fully replaced with stainless steel (S.S.) piping to enhance durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability.
BMAC also provided fire stopping consulting to ensure all pipe penetrations through rated assemblies complied with current fire code requirements.
Our integrated approach helped the project team achieve a durable, code-compliant, and cost-effective solution for extending the building’s plumbing infrastructure lifespan.
